About the Role

Common Energy is seeking a dedicated and impact-driven professional to join our Office of Energy & Sustainability. As we continue to reshape the global energy landscape, we are looking for a teammate who is passionate about replacing fossil fuels with local, clean renewable energy. In this role, you will work at the forefront of the community solar movement, helping businesses, non-profits, and consumers transition to a sustainable future while reducing their energy expenses. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Operations, and Customer Experience, to streamline the delivery of community solar projects.
• Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from residential consumers to large-scale non-profits, to promote the benefits of renewable energy adoption.
• Support the execution of sustainability initiatives that align with our mission of reducing carbon emissions and disrupting traditional fossil fuel reliance.
• Analyze project data and operational workflows to identify opportunities for growth and increased efficiency in regional energy markets.
• Contribute to a high-performance team culture by participating in continuous feedback loops and professional development sessions.
• Represent the Common Energy brand as a champion for clean energy, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and environmental impact.

• A deep-seated passion for renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and social impact.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote or flexible office environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving without corporate politics.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex energy concepts to various audiences.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive operational improvements and project success.
• Previous experience in the energy sector, sustainability consulting, or a high-growth startup environment is preferred.
