Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans focused on Python programming, data structures, and algorithmic logic for various grade levels.
- Facilitate engaging virtual classroom sessions that encourage student participation, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Develop and grade assessments, providing constructive feedback to help students refine their coding skills and theoretical knowledge.
- Stay abreast of current trends in the technology industry and educational technology to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and rigorous.
- Provide one-on-one mentorship and technical support to students working on complex coding projects and capstone assignments.
- Collaborate with the academic department to integrate computer science concepts across other disciplines, fostering a holistic STEM environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and administrators regarding academic performance.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in computer science instruction or a related software development role.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming is mandatory, including familiarity with its libraries and real-world applications.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant Education field.
- Strong understanding of core CS fundamentals such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), database management, and software development life cycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical jargon in simple, accessible terms.
- Demonstrated experience using virtual learning platforms (LMS), video conferencing tools, and collaborative coding environments.
