About the Role

Hired is looking for a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our globally distributed team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between raw data and strategic execution, providing the insights necessary to drive growth and operational efficiency across the organization. As a remote-first company, we value independence, clear communication, and a results-driven mindset, allowing you the freedom to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on our product and business trajectory. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and executive leadership to identify trends, solve complex problems, and foster a data-driven culture that prioritizes accuracy and innovation.

We are seeking an individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses a keen business sense. You will be responsible for navigating large, complex datasets to uncover hidden patterns and translate them into compelling stories for stakeholders. Your work will directly influence our roadmap, helping us understand user behavior, optimize our marketplace dynamics, and enhance the overall experience for both candidates and employers on our platform. If you are passionate about data integrity, enjoy the challenge of building scalable reporting systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, we encourage you to apply and help us shape the future of recruitment technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide real-time visibility into business health.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all reporting platforms.
  • Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to identify the root causes of business challenges and provide data-backed recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for new features and initiatives, ensuring that tracking is implemented correctly from the start.
  • Clean and preprocess raw data, troubleshooting inconsistencies and working with the engineering team to improve data pipeline reliability.
  • Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and persuasive presentations that influence high-level decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics to continuously improve our internal tools and methodologies.
  • Support the democratization of data by training team members on how to use self-service analytics tools effectively.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within a high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL is mandatory, including the ability to write efficient queries and manage large datasets.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create intuitive and actionable dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in business contexts, such as A/B testing and regression analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data analysis, specifically Python or R, for data manipulation and automation tasks.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fully remote, asynchronous work environment.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses designed to attract top-tier global talent.
  • Flexible work-from-anywhere policy, providing you with the ultimate work-life balance and autonomy.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages to keep you and your family well.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy, including mental health days and observed company holidays.
  • Dedicated professional development budget for certifications, workshops, and industry conferences.
  • Home office stipend to help you create a comfortable and productive workspace.
  • A collaborative and inclusive company culture that celebrates diversity and encourages innovation through regular virtual team-building events.
  • Access to the latest analytical tools and technology stack to support your professional success.
