Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a holistic, integrated communications strategy that supports Wing’s expansion into complex, high-density metropolitan markets.

  • Lead B2B and B2C communications to position Wing as a mission-critical delivery partner for global restaurant and retail brands.
  • Collaborate closely with Government Affairs and Public Policy teams to engage federal aviation authorities and local municipalities, addressing complex regulatory landscapes and community interests.
  • Oversee a comprehensive executive communications and thought leadership framework, preparing C-suite leaders for high-stakes media engagements and industry events.
  • Design and implement robust internal communications and crisis management protocols to maintain organizational alignment and reputational integrity.
  • Distill complex autonomous flight technology into authentic, compelling narratives that resonate with tech press, policymakers, and the general public.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing communications department, fostering a culture of accountability and creative excellence.

Qualifications
  • At least 20 years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, preferably within a high-growth consumer brand or technology company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing reputational risk and navigating significant regulatory scrutiny or rapid commercial scaling.
  • Extensive experience managing multifaceted teams across internal, external, product, and policy communication disciplines.
  • Exceptional executive presence with a history of advising senior leadership on sensitive strategic issues and crisis response.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical engineering concepts into accessible, engaging stories for diverse audiences.
  • Strong network of media contacts within the technology, transportation, and business sectors.

Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $224,000 to $326,000 USD, plus performance-based bonuses.
  • Generous equity package as part of Alphabet’s portfolio.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Flexible remote work environment with the resources of a global technology leader.
  • Professional development opportunities and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Inclusive workplace policies and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
