About the Role

FindTutors is seeking a compassionate, driven, and highly organized Student Life Coach to join our expanding online educational community. In this pivotal role, you will act as a dedicated mentor and strategist for students navigating the complexities of academic life, personal growth, and career preparation. We believe that every student has the potential to excel when provided with the right tools, and your mission will be to empower them to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and achieve their personal and academic milestones in a supportive virtual environment.

As an online Life Coach, you will bridge the gap between traditional tutoring and holistic development. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about youth mentorship and possess the unique ability to build trust and rapport through digital platforms. You will work one-on-one with a diverse range of students, helping them manage stress, improve time management, and cultivate a growth mindset that serves them long after their studies are complete.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct personalized one-on-one coaching sessions via video conferencing to assess student needs and establish clear, actionable goals.
  • Develop customized success plans that address academic motivation, organizational skills, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Guide students through effective time-management strategies and study techniques to optimize their learning outcomes.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding career aspirations, personal values, and self-confidence building.
  • Monitor student progress over time, providing consistent encouragement and adjusting coaching strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of coaching sessions and communicate effectively with parents or guardians when required.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in educational psychology and student wellness to provide evidence-based support.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in life coaching, student mentoring, or academic advising, particularly with teenagers or young adults.
  • Exceptional communication and active listening skills, with the ability to convey empathy and authority in a digital setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a flexible schedule of student appointments independently.
  • Proficiency with digital communication tools, including Zoom, Google Workspace, and online scheduling software.
  • A coaching certification from a recognized body (e.g., ICF) is considered a significant advantage.
  • A genuine passion for student advocacy and a commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Benefits

  • Full remote flexibility, allowing you to design a workspace and schedule that fits your lifestyle.
  • Competitive hourly rates with the opportunity to scale your student base over time.
  • Access to a global platform with a consistent flow of students seeking professional guidance.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a leading EdTech company dedicated to innovative learning solutions.
  • The intrinsic reward of making a tangible, positive impact on the lives and futures of young learners.
