Manager of People Operations

We are looking for an innovative Manager of People Operations who views agentic workflows as the foundation of modern HR. Reporting to the VP of People, you will be the architect of our operational backbone, designing systems that allow a lean team to support a global workforce across the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the Philippines.

• Architect and continuously improve the end-to-end People Ops and Talent Acquisition stack, embedding AI agents as the default execution layer for onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
• Design and deploy AI agents to handle routine operational work, including compliance documentation, offer letter generation, and tier-1 employee queries, aiming for zero-touch human intervention.
• Manage multi-country HR compliance across six operating regions by building agentic checks that flag risks and track regulatory changes automatically.
• Develop AI-powered reporting and real-time dashboards to provide deep insights into hiring funnels, operational health, and workforce analytics.
• Oversee the HRIS and ATS ecosystem, evaluating all new tools through the lens of API-first design and agent-readiness.
• Own US benefits administration and vendor management, leveraging automation to streamline open enrollment and eligibility tracking.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and Legal departments to automate cross-functional workflows like headcount planning and system access provisioning.
• Serve as the internal lead on AI governance, ensuring all automated tools remain ethical, compliant, and secure regarding sensitive employee data.
• Coach the broader People team on AI fluency and prompt engineering to elevate the collective operational capacity of the department.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR Ops, ideally within a high-growth SaaS environment.
• Deep, hands-on fluency with AI tools and automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or n8n, with a proven track record of building and deploying functional agents.
• Technical proficiency with APIs, integrations, and prompt engineering as core professional skills.
• Strong knowledge of US benefits administration (ACA, ERISA) and a working understanding of international HR compliance.
• Experience managing complex HRIS and ATS platforms as integrated, data-driven systems.
• Exceptional systems-thinking skills with a bias toward automation and process redesign over increasing headcount.
• High EQ and discretion, with the ability to maintain integrity while handling sensitive global employee data.
• A player-coach mindset, ready to build and ship work independently while preparing to lead a pillar of the People function.

• Competitive base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 USD plus equity opportunities.
