We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our patient-facing administrative team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, forward-thinking company where your work directly impacts patient wellbeing from the comfort of a professional home-based environment. As a key member of our pharmacy and clinical support structure, you will ensure the seamless delivery of care by managing critical documentation and maintaining the highest standards of professional communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal flow for clinical staff and ease of access for patients.
  • Manage appointment payments and administrative financial processing with high accuracy and discretion.
  • Provide high-quality clinical transcription, including the typing of letters, clinical reports, and complex medical documentation.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone and email, delivering information with a professional and compassionate tone.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, including the preparation of agendas and accurate minute-taking.
  • Support the wider pharmacy and clinical teams with diverse administrative tasks to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records while strictly adhering to data protection and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or medical environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with a minimum of Grade C or higher in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • High level of proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on patient-centric service.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical transcription is highly desirable.
  • A discreet and professional demeanor, with a commitment to maintaining strict patient confidentiality at all times.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and the opportunity to build a career within a trailblazing global industry.
  • Full-time remote working, providing a professional home-based environment and better work-life balance.
  • Sociable working hours with no requirements for late nights or weekend shifts.
  • Clear pathways for career growth and professional development within the Curaleaf International network.
  • A supportive, inclusive, and diverse workplace culture that values innovation and excellence.
  • The chance to be part of the world’s largest cannabis company, leading the way in research and patient care.

At Curaleaf International, we are not just participating in the cannabis industry; we are leading it. Our subsidiary, Curaleaf Pharmacy, is regulated by the GPhC and operates as a fully licensed distance-selling pharmacy. This means you will focus on professional, patient-focused work without the disruptions of in-person retail. If you are ready to drive global acceptance of medical cannabis and deliver excellence every day, we encourage you to apply promptly.
