As a key member of our remote workforce, you will play a pivotal role in executing our mission to empower women through high-impact programming and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with industry leaders, government agencies, and corporate partners to ensure our members have the resources and visibility they need to succeed. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative movement while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute comprehensive professional development programs, webinars, and networking events tailored to the needs of women in the construction industry.
  • Manage member outreach initiatives to increase engagement and ensure the delivery of high-value resources to our diverse community of professionals.
  • Collaborate with the legislative committee to support advocacy efforts and stay informed on policies affecting minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs).
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, newsletters, and social media content to amplify the WBC brand and mission.
  • Facilitate communication between the Board of Directors, committee members, and external stakeholders to streamline organizational workflows.
  • Track and report on program performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement in member services.
  • Provide administrative support for organizational growth, including membership database management and virtual event logistics.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in program coordination, non-profit management, or a related administrative role within the construction or professional services sector.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges facing women and MWBEs in the current economic and legislative landscape.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, Trello, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail in a remote setting.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and industry standards.
  • Fully remote work flexibility, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to build a high-level professional network with industry leaders and decision-makers.
  • Professional development opportunities and access to exclusive industry conferences and workshops.
  • A supportive and inclusive culture dedicated to the empowerment of women and minority professionals.
  • Paid time off, including federal holidays and a flexible vacation policy.
