About the Role

Strange Face, a premier London-based cinematic video production studio, is seeking a visionary Social Media Marketing Specialist to spearhead the promotional campaign for our latest project, Bublik. As a bilingual art-house psychodrama entering the prestigious international festival circuit, Bublik requires more than just standard digital marketing; it requires a strategist who understands the intersection of cinema, culture, and digital storytelling. This is a unique opportunity for a creative professional to shape the digital legacy of a sophisticated film project and drive global visibility among critics, festival programmers, and cinephiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for Bublik across Instagram and other high-impact platforms to build momentum ahead of festival submissions.
  • Cultivate a distinctive digital voice and visual identity that mirrors the film’s atmospheric and psychological depth, ensuring all output remains authentic to the art-house genre.
  • Curate, plan, and schedule a sophisticated content calendar featuring high-quality teasers, exclusive film stills, behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage, and talent spotlights.
  • Monitor and analyze community engagement and platform performance, translating data into actionable insights to refine the campaign’s reach and impact.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director and the production team to source raw assets and ensure all messaging aligns with the film’s core artistic vision.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the campaign, from initial teaser phases to post-screening engagement and award circuit announcements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, with a proven portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • A strong background in the film industry, arts, or high-end culture sectors is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated aesthetic sensibility; you must possess a deep understanding of cinematic and editorial visuals beyond basic social media trends.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to navigate bilingual or multilingual nuances within a creative context.
  • Self-directed professional capable of taking full ownership of a project and delivering high-quality results under festival-driven deadlines.
  • Technical proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and basic visual editing software.

Benefits
  • Flexible working arrangements with the option for fully remote work or a hybrid setup for London-based candidates.
  • The opportunity to work on a high-profile cinematic project with significant exposure within the international film festival circuit.
  • A creative environment that values artistic integrity and high-concept storytelling over generic marketing metrics.
  • Direct collaboration with an award-winning production studio and visionary creative talent.
  • Project-based contract with a clear timeline and the potential for future collaborations on upcoming studio productions.

To apply, please submit a brief introductory note and a portfolio showcasing past campaigns, specifically highlighting any work within the film or festival space, to Artem Fedorov via LinkedIn.
